As an experienced educator, I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of courses in the field of information technology. One of my primary responsibilities has been to teach the Fundamentals of Computer Troubleshooting, Introduction to Linux, and Ethical Hacking to a diverse group of students each semester.

Web development for Intranet using tools such as SharePoint 2007, 2010, Designer 2010. Modify ASPX server-side dynamic web pages to support various department missions within SharePoint; such as HR hiring actions shell. Migrated site content from 2007 to 2010 SharePoint.
System audits, backups and disaster recovery using tools such as Barracuda (Yosemite), NetApp Snapshot, Veeam, HP StoreOnce. Performed backup and program recovery techniques; such as, running data restorations, recovery of home shares and shared data using Yosemite/Barracuda software and NetApp snapshots. This ensured expedient backup and restoration of data base and file systems.
Configure daily NetApp snapshots of file share and Veeam snapshots of virtual machines. Manage and upgraded five ESXi hosts, NetApp controllers and disk shelves for virtual machines. Conduct offsite tape backups of servers. Migrated ESXi hosts to new vCenter in order to shut down non-compliant vCenter.
Software packaging using tools such as SCCM Configuration Manager 2007. Updated advertisements within as well as modified packages using AutoIt.
Server and network configurations. Responded to a variety of failures to devise recovery plans for system failures. Detected damaged or lost files, optimized disk management, measured system performance and controled system security.
Scripting with VBScript, PowerShell and Batch. Created PowerShell scripts to automate the process of obtaining stale LAN accounts and hosts within Active Directory. Automated home share creations within a HTML Application (HTA) account creation tool written in VBScript.
Installed, troubleshoot and maintained Nortel and Brocade networking equipment.
Wrote monthly reports advising organization of network health and status. Wrote weekly reports of work performed by seasonal worker.
Tracked hosts using programs, such as PuTTY, HyperTerminal and WhatsUp Gold to defend networks against security threats.
Positioned and maintained a wide spectrum of satellite dishes; including KA and KU, utilizing FDMA and TDMA technologies along with servers operating on Windows Server 2003.
Initiated and led the deployment of devices and applications that enabled the automation of organizational operations, while conducting proxy and firewall modifications.
Performed security scans using Retina and WSUS. Performed computer systems security support functions as the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for assigned system. Performed information vulnerability mitigations; ensuring STIG requirements are met and applying required security patches to meet IAVA compliance.
Overseen installation and configuration of networked systems and equipment upgrading and changing the system configuration and components for efficient
operation. Also, monitored networked systems operation ensuring that hardware and software are functioning properly and that operational goals and standards are met.
